More than ten years Dr. Din Bjutner working with a team of experts who study longevity. He wrote a scientific paper of the regions which are called “Blue Zone”, where many people live to a hundred years.
He and his team studied the diet of these people and foods that they are entering.

 

He singled out 6 eating habits that will help you to live longer.

1) CONSUME 95 PERCENT OF PLANTS
Plants
Even grain and beans dominate in meals of Blue Zone. These people eat a lot of different vegetables. Everything is green affects you live longer. Studies have shown that middle-aged people who consume a cup of cooked greens a day have half the chance of getting sick.

2) EAT MEAT ONLY TWICE A WEEK
Meat
Limit intake of meat on two cooked meals a week. Most hold of chicken, lamb and pork from farms. The meat in the countries of the Blue Zone comes from animals which move freely in the meadows and feed on natural foods.

3) EAT FISH EVERY DAY
Fish
In Blue Zone, fish is often on the menu. The best for losing weight, and to maintain the health of the organism.

4) REDUCE MILK PRODUCTS
Milk
The body of an adult is not well designed to digest cow’s milk, which is rich in fat and sugar. It is best to take the needed calcium from plants. If you can’t without milk products, consume products that come from sheep and goat’s milk.

5) EAT TO 3 EGG WEEKLY

People in these areas eat only one egg. And it’s not every day. Those in the week mostly eat three eggs. Try breakfast decorate something else other than eggs, for example, a salad and you will see that you can keep only one.

6) REPLACE SOURDOUGH WITH WHOLE GRAIN
Sourdough
In each of the Blue Zones cultures, bread is what connects dishes. But most of these people consume pasta that are made of whole grains. They avoid foods that contain gluten.
