Lead researcher Jack Dyck, responsible for the previous findings, was quoted as saying the following “I think resveratrol could help patient populations who want to exercise but are physically incapable… Resveratrol could mimic exercise for them, or improve the benefits of the modest amount of exercise that they can do.”
The benefits to be gained from the consumption of red wine have been recorded throughout time. Through research, it has been found that red wine can aid in reducing the likelihoods of cancer or dementia. Additionally, it is excellent for your heart, reducing the likelihood of cardiovascular diseases. Finally, it also aids in the regulation of blood sugar levels.
Of course, you’ve got to take into consideration that it is all about moderation. This is absolutely no excuse to get drunk on red wine at all. It should also be taken into consideration that the previously mentioned university study was applied on rats. Human subjects were not involved.
