Many of us suffer from insomnia. We have a magic recipe for those of you. You will fall asleep in less than one minute!

Ingredients:

  • Honey- take 1 tablespoon
  • Milk- take about 6 oz.
  • Vanilla extract- about one drop

Method:

Warm the milk in a pan and pour it into a glass. Do not boil it. Add the required amount of honey and vanilla extract and mix it well. Keep sipping it slowly just before you go to bed.

We are sure this will work wonders. It’s an ancient recipe for insomnia and is considered to be one of the best. Honey is used to increase insulin secretion in the body. It also promotes the release of tryptophan into the brain. Tryptophan is further converted into serotonin, which is then converted into melatonin. Serotonin helps is relaxation and melatonin helps is sleeping.

Individually, milk and honey are quite effective, but when taken together, their effect increases. Drink one cup of this mixture everyday to ward off your insomnia problems.

Note: A word of caution for people with lactose intolerance. Please use lactose free substitutes of milk instead of pure milk. You can use almond, soy or rice milk.
