Parasite is a hidden plague that can cause weight gain, increase anxiety, destroy digestion and fuel sugar carvings. Over 25 years ago, Peter Weina, PhD, FACP, the Chief of Pathobiology at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, said, “We have a tremendous parasite problem right here in the United States—it’s just not being identified.”

Could unsuspected parasites be holding your health hostage?

If you suffer with an inflexible sweet tooth, fatigue, or any of the following symptoms, unseen symptoms might be the underlying cause:

  • Anxiety, nervousness and depression
  • Frequent infections including yeast infections and colds
  • Intestinal issues like intermittent constipation, diarrhoea, bloating and gas
  • Joint or muscle pain
  • Difficulty sleeping or night-time teeth grinding
  • Dark circles around or under the eyes
  • Acne, eczema, hives, rashes or other skin conditions
  • Sensory disorders such as vertigo, brain fog or poor coordination

Most people believe these symptoms as a third-world concern. But, a study in ‘The American Journal of Tropical Medicine’ and Hygiene’ say that nearly 32% of a nationally representative sample of 2,896 people found positive for parasitic infections, and at least 48 states have found measurable outbreaks.

Improperly washed fruits and vegetables, undercooked/raw or micro waved fish, meat and poultry, polluted soil and water and inadequate hygiene are the major reasons for the spread of parasites.

They can create many health problems and are responsible for an enormous view. Parasites consume our food and nutrients, produce toxic wastes in our body and even destroy our tissues and cells.

A parasite which is the most immunosuppressive agent in the human body produces in dole catabolises that makes our organs such as kidneys and liver to work overtime to excrete. In addition, it makes our body to emit substances called cytokines that generate a variety of immune responses.

These high levels of cytokines have been linked to increased incidences like violet suicide attempts as well as depression. However, Cytokines pass through the blood-brain barrier and can create negative impact neurotransmitters such as dopamine and serotonin in the brain.

Here are the warning signs:
