Tree nuts, such as almonds, peanuts, pistachios, hazelnuts and cashews, are also rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins and proteins, however, the scientists point out that people do not consume this fruit in sufficient quantities.

– Our recommendation is that you eat seven walnuts a day, says the leader of the study, Joe Vinson.

Previous research has shown that eating walnuts can significantly reduce the signs of aging and protects against heart disease and some cancers.

The fruit of walnuts is rich in oil (55-65%), as well as high-quality protein (15%), carbohydrates, and is also rich in potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron and vitamins B and C.

Many people avoid eating walnuts, because they think they can influence weight gain. However, walnuts contain healthy monounsaturated fats and polyunsaturated, which will not clog up the blood vessels. If you consume nuts, you will not gain weight, but, on the contrary, you can lose weight because they will help you feel a sieve for a longer period.

Scientists point out that the best way to consume nuts is to eat them raw or unprocessed. Roasting reduces their effectiveness.
