I remember the joy I got from enjoying the delicious treat of cookies and milk as a kid. I mastered the method of dunking a cookie just enough to get it soft without it breaking apart. Nonetheless, I started to experience digestive issues as I got older and had to eradicate milk from my diet since it was associated with my excess indigestion and gas.

Low fat was my choice due to vain reasons was what I desired. Over the years I started getting wind of many questionable things about milk

Let’s look closely especially at low-fat milk

David Ludwig who is a researcher has a great stand on the issues of consuming low-fat milk. He stated that dairy products and milk with low-fat were made up of sweeteners and are dangerous to your well-being and health

Beverages which have been sweetened, alongside milk that is low-fat, can lead to health issues like metabolic syndrome, gain in weight, cancer and diabetes because they result in excessive consumption of sugar.

Low-Fat Products – A DANGEROUS Alternative

The milk becomes less tasty when the fat is taken out of it. Due to that additional sugar is added to cover up the loss and assist it in becoming more enticing to your diet.

However, the intake of more sugar (especially by drinking it) goes directly against research, which has shown that excessive sugar should be evaded.

It’s more crucial to find out where the milk came from. Standard milk has been noticed to be made up of more than 20 painkillers, anti-toxins which are ingredients that are dangerous.

“Healthy Fats” Don’t Make You Fat

If you listen to media about health-related issues over the past decade, there isn’t a lack of information which claims that fat is not healthy and to avoid all fat.

Nonetheless, in recent times, there have been studies carried out which show that healthy fats have much significance to your body. According to a study that was written in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition:

“There is no evidence which proves that dietary saturated fat is associated with increased risk for cardiovascular disease.”

Fat gotten from milk may not be a bad thing, due to the fact that milk originated from cows which are grass fed. This means that the milk is Raw and it is appropriately tolerated by your body. Other examples of healthy fat are avocados, coconut oil and nuts.

BUT if I don’t drink milk, where will my calcium be gotten from?

There are a variety of natural and healthy ways to obtain calcium. The following are some of them;

  1. Broccoli
  2. Kale
  3. Edamame
  4. Collard Greens
  5. Bok Choy
  6. Figs
  7. Oranges
  8. Sardines
  9. Salmon
  10. Almonds

Milk that is low fat can have adverse and harmful effects on the well-being and health of your body just like processed food. If you are determined to drink milk, be certain to take in clean, natural and organic milk. You can also try some alternatives which are healthy like almond milk and coconut.

Be careful when dealing with milk just like a majority of food in the market today. You will be astonished how sugar is often added alongside other ingredients.
