You don’t have to worry about most moles because they are harmless. They can be of trouble only because they affect your aesthetics because people usually think they are not attractive.

The medical term of moles is melanocytic nevi and they are formed because of accumulation of melanocytes. They can be brown, black or have flesh colored complexion. They can be in the form of patches or spots.  As you may already guess, it is melanocytes that create melanin, the coloring pigment in our body.

Moles usually appear when we are between 20 an 30. They could be smooth, textured, flat, raised and may have hair too. Their looks and numbers can vary according to your hormone changes, genetics and exposure to sunlight.

Many moles go away as you age. But some may not go and may interfere with your looks. There are some basic home remedies which are beneficial in eliminating those bad-looking moles.

But before you start using any of these home remedies, it is recommended to check the moles for anything abnormal like the asymmetry of the diameter, color or borders.
