You don’t have to worry about most moles because they are harmless. They can be of trouble only because they affect your aesthetics because people usually think they are not attractive.

The medical term of moles is melanocytic nevi and they are formed because of accumulation of melanocytes. They can be brown, black or have flesh colored complexion. They can be in the form of patches or spots.  As you may already guess, it is melanocytes that create melanin, the coloring pigment in our body.

Moles usually appear when we are between 20 an 30. They could be smooth, textured, flat, raised and may have hair too. Their looks and numbers can vary according to your hormone changes, genetics and exposure to sunlight.

Many moles go away as you age. But some may not go and may interfere with your looks. There are some basic home remedies which are beneficial in eliminating those bad-looking moles.

But before you start using any of these home remedies, it is recommended to check the moles for anything abnormal like the asymmetry of the diameter, color or borders.

If you find these characteristics or if the mole changes its color or shape on its own (without treatment), you should go and see a dermatologist to eliminate any chances that it is cancerous. You should never perform own treatment for cancerous moles.

Use these home remedies on moles which are noncancerous.

You may also start by rubbing warm water on the moles and then apply the vinegar until you see that it has turned white. Alternatively, you could start by lightly scraping mole surface using emery board. Leave the vinegar over the mole, allowing it to dry. Repeat a few times through the day.
