 Some people fall sick after eating carbs. Carbs are the short form of Carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are sugars, fibers, and starches that occur naturally. This means that they are gotten from plants. They are made up of sugar molecules that are linked together to form fiber and starches. Every carbohydrate taken into the body is broken down (digested) into simple sugars to give the body energy. Examples of these sugars are; glucose, fructose, galactose, and maltose.

  5. Potatoes.

Why People Fall Sick After Eating Carbs

Various factors attribute to the fact that some people fall sick after eating carbs. People that fall sick after eating carbohydrates are referred to as carbohydrate intolerant. Their bodies cannot digest carbohydrates so there are specific diets they take. The intolerance to carbohydrates varies from individual to individual based on the diagnosis. Some people can tolerate  just a small amount of carbs, while some cannot. They are called Citrin deficient people. I’m sure you’re wondering how that is practicable especially when a majority of foods have sugars. Well, they have preferences for foods that are high in proteins and lipids.
